Each PhD student of cycles XXXI and XXXII of DRII will give a short presentation about the research activity that she/he carried out in the last year. The presentations are grouped according to the four curricula of DRII.

Estefanía Núñez Carmona won the “Researcher of the Year 2016 Commercial Application” award by presenting a business plan for the commercialization and application of the S3, Nanowire sensor device created in the Sensor Lab, to the SMEs of the agri-food sector at the event “Entrepreneurship Summer Academy”.
The event was held from 6th to 10th June in Potsdam, Germany, organized by TRADEIT. This organization based it activity in the commercial transfer of research to the world of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The award consists of a voucher and a publication in Taste of Science journal designed by TRADEIT and EFFoST (European Federation of Food Science and Technology).
