|GEOMETRY PROCESSING FOR 3D SCANNING APPLICATIONS
The aim of my research is to study and develop new algorithms for acquiring, improving or manipulating 3D data acquired using modern scanning technologies.
I was born the first of september 1987 in Vimercate, Lombardy, Italy.
In 2006 I received a High school degree in Informatics with grade 100/100 cum laude.
In 2009 I received a bachelors degree in Mathematics at the University of Milano Bicocca with grade 110/110 cum laude.
In 2012 I received a master’s in Mathematics at the University of Milano Bicocca with grade 110/110 cum laude with a thesis entitled “Constructing irreducible representations with assigned character”. The focus of my work was on Representation Theory and Computational Algebra.
In 2013 I moved into applied mathematics by joining the Advanced Systems Technology group of STMicroelectronics, where I worked on hand-tracking applications.
In 2014 joined the University of Brescia as a research fellow and I started wirking on 3D mesh processing applications.
Starting from november 2014 I am PhD student at the University of Brescia and employed at Open Technologies Srl. The focus of my work is the development of efficient 3D mesh processing algorithms.
