Short Bio

Safia Hameed is a young PhD research scholar in the field of Information Engineering and nanotechnology, exclusively Nanotechnology, she believes on efforts and hard work and prefer to work with competent and reliable organizations. She is a PhD student in the department of Information Engineering, University of Brescia, Italy, under the supervision of professor Elisabetta Comini. She have expertise in the field of Nanotechnology, Green Hydrogen, Sustainable energy, Characterizations, Gas sensing and biological activities and have been able to publish 17 research/review articles ( https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=jH9rnS8AAAAJ&hl=en ) so far in the reputed international journals and a patent no 61/2019 is also online by 09-07-2020.

She did her matriculation from F.G high school Nowshera KPK Pakistan in 2009 with good grads in pre medical then she did her FSc from Jinnah college in 2011 with a competitive grads, and that was very critical and important time for her to decide that in which way she can fulfill her dream of serving humanity and then she choose nanotechnology as a profession for her, because she realized her inner potential and guts that what she can do, she get her BS degree in biotechnology from Bacha Khan University Charsadda in 2016 with good grades and received Gold medal. She done with her M.Phil by securing 4.1/5.0 CGPA under the supervision of Prof. Zabta Khan Shinwari from Quaid-e-Azam University. She did plenty of research work in different research institutions in Pakistan like NIFA and NCP, she is the 2018 fellow of HSP health security partner Washington DC for a year from Pakistan and have attend international conference on infectious diseases in Baku, Azerbaijan. She is the general secretary of Education Welfare Society where they empower and educate the females specially from the developing areas of Pakistan.
