The research explores nonlinear light-matter interactions in dielectric flat optics. It investigates how the polarization and angular momentum of light can be controlled through harmonic generation in silicon and GaAs nanostructures. This work includes theoretical and experimental studies of nonlinear circular dichroism and structured third-harmonic generation, and also second-harmonic generation for near-infrared polarimetric imaging using nonlinear metasurfaces. These activities aim to advance multifunctional photonic platforms with tailored nonlinear optical responses.
