CurriculumElectronics Engineering, Sensors and Instrumentation
AdvisorStefano Rinaldi
Research groupTo be confirmed
The research project aims to develop a smart charging system for electric vehicles capable of dynamically modulating charging power based on electrical grid conditions. The solution entails a Charging Point Management System based on the OCPP protocol and control algorithms designed to improve voltage quality by preventing overvoltages and voltage drops beyond regulatory limits. Furthermore, the project incorporates distributed technologies for the secure, transparent, and immutable certification of energy transactions, thereby reducing reliance on central authorities.
