Research Topics

Cognitive Dynamic Systems for Wireless Communications

My research activity is focused on wireless systems that are aware of the surrounding environment. In particular, I am interested in evaluating the performance and the security of different positioning techniques based on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technologies. In addition, I am working on accelerating Software-Defined Radio applications with GPU computing.

Bio

I received the B.Sc. in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and the M.Sc. cum laude in Communication Technologies and Multimedia from the University of Brescia, Italy. During my Master thesis, I have spent five months at the University of Edinburgh under the supervision of Prof. Paul Patras.
