|TOWARD A NOVEL INTERACTION PARADIGM FOR AMBIENT INTELLIGENCE
My research activity focuses on novel human-system interaction solutions for Ambient Intelligence systems. The study takes event-condition-action (ECA) rules as a mandatory ingredient of the interaction with such systems, but differently from other literature works, we consider the direct manipulation of rules by end users not necessary.
These are the current research topics:
• Design of a reference architecture for Ambient Intelligence, including rules, based on the Internet of Things functional model.
• Detailed description of the portion of the system corresponding to the upper layers of the architecture.
• Definition of a BDI-inspired interaction paradigm for end users.
• Development of methods and algorithms for the automatic generation of rules by inductive learning based on user interaction with the system.
In november 2014 I graduated in Ingegneria Informatica with honors. The thesis was about the generation and usage of Landmarks in the automatic planner “LPG”
